Andy joined AMG in 2011 after a successful career in public accounting with a Big Four accounting firm and a Regional accounting firm. Andy’s experience includes three years with KPMG conducting audit services for SEC registrants in the manufacturing / distribution industry, as well as the financial services industry. Most recently, Andy served as Senior Manager at Dixon Hughes Goodman managing the SEC audit practice in the Charlotte, North Carolina office. His experience includes working with Fortune 500 companies assisting with implementation of complex accounting standards in areas such as stock options, purchase accounting and SEC financial reporting requirements.
Andy received a Masters and B.S. in Accounting from Appalachian State University.
Andy serves as a Board Member for the South Carolina Financial Services Association and is a Member of the North Carolina and South Carolina Associations of Public Accountants. In addition, Andy serves as the Chairman of the North Carolina State Board of Directors for Bethany Christian Services and has previously served as the Chairman of the Charlotte, North Carolina Board of Directors for Bethany Christian Services. Andy serves on the Finance Committee at Forest Hill Church and is actively involved in church sports ministry.
